Chief Gary Faucett
Fire Chief Gary Faucett comes
to Lake Stevens with over 30 years of distinguished fire
service. After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1975,
he began his fire career as a dispatcher and volunteer
firefighter. In 1979 he became a Paramedic with South Kitsap
Fire & Rescue and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1987
where he was able to begin fulfilling his goal of adding value
to people through leadership. His talents and charismatic
personality provided him the opportunity to promote through
department ranks serving as the Assistant Chief of Training and
ending his notable service in South Kitsap as the Deputy Chief
of Operations. Chief Faucett has a degree in Fire Science.
Chief Faucett lives in Lake Stevens with his wife Naomi. They
have two sons and three exuberant grandchildren who are
responsible for keeping them young. He enjoys golf and getting
away in the RV. |

Deputy Chief Lingenfelter
Deputy Chief Dave
Lingenfelter has been with Lake Stevens Fire for 11+ years. He
started his tenure with Lake Stevens Fire as the Director of
Paramedics, and moved through the ranks as Battalion Chief of
EMS, Deputy Chief of EMS and Administration, Interim Fire Chief
for 15 months, and is now currently Deputy Chief of
Administrative Services. His experience includes working as a
paramedic with Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington for 23 years
and working part time for Valley General Hospital in Monroe. He
received his paramedic training through the Institute of
Pre-hospital Medicine in Bellingham.
Chief Lingenfelter has been married to his wife Patti for 36
years. They have two sons, one daughter, and six grandchildren
full of energy. He enjoys golfing, fishing and hiking during
his free time. |

Deputy Chief Adkins
Deputy Chief Richard Adkins
has been with Lake Stevens Fire for 32 years. He became a
Volunteer Firefighter with Lake Stevens Fire in November of
1973. His tenure with Lake Stevens Fire includes the ranks of
Firefighter-EMT, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and
presently the Deputy Chief of Emergency Services.
Chief Adkins has been a resident of Lake Stevens since 1956. He
has been married to his wife Michelle for 10 years. Their son
Josh and daughter Jessica keep them constantly on the move with
school sports. He enjoys exploring Eastern Washington, golfing,
snowmobiling, fishing, camping, shooting, ocean kite festivals,
motorcycle riding in the mountains, river rafting and a good
campfire. |
